So I just did my mileage run to JFK and returned via DC, Dulles Airport, where I lunched with Iva -- my business partner at Legal SeaFood! Yum. Didn't sleep on the redeye out, instead caught 2 magnificent films -- NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (very disturbing, but brilliant) and AUGUST RUSH (Whoa!). When I got to JFK, all I did was ask some one if I could be his guest in the Red Carpet Club - the United First Class lounge - where it was very quiet and I was able to sleep a couple of hours.



Then it was back on the plane to DC where I dined with Iva, then back to LA. That plane had plenty of room to spread out so I napped on and off and read the entire New York Times from cover to cover!!! Can't remember the last time I did that.



While in the DC airport, there was a store called AMERICA with life-sized cardboard cut-outs of Obama and McCain flanking a table full of Obama and McCain for President stuff and in the center a sign that read "Hillary 50% off!" Sort of caught my eye! I mean they did kinda jump the gun!

Phrase for the Day: Mileage Run

Ever do a mileage run? It's where you take a flight specifically to get miles to qualify for a particular airline's elite program. I had no idea there was a term for it until my friend Toby -- world traveler -- so informed me.

Well, I've been known to do this from time to time. There are actually seminars devoted to strategizing mileage runs. Huh?

Need to Stay Awake .... Not With Buzz Bites!

I am feeling so sleepy as I drove Aidan and his dad to the airport at 6:00 this morning. I could take one of the Buzz Bites, but the idea of a chocolate candy that has the caffeine equivalent of a cup of coffee slightly frightens me. I'd rather take a nap or get a latte. In fact, I just looked up the ingredients for the Buzz Bites and it's artificially flavored and has partially hydrogenated oils. OMG! Man.... I've even taken the time in my life to find organic espresso. Like I'm going to put this in my now healthy body..... NOT!

JUST DIVORCED!!!

As I was leaving NEVER WORK AGAIN yesterday, Russ the Buzz Bites guy said to me... and I quote "Right now, some one is praying to meet you." How sweet those words sound. So I keep playing them over and over. Along with the DECLARATIONS from NEVER WORK AGAIN which is all about having massive passive income so that you never have to work again, unless you want to.

Literally, the first phone call I got this morning was some one who wants to basically give me a lot of money to do a little bit of work later this week!! I just smiled. There are NO coincidences. There are no WHAT? No coincidences! YOU ASKED FOR IT, YOU GOT IT!!

I wonder if Russ has that some one's email address or phone number, or even a photo!! :)
